00:15 – So let’s check it out!

00:18 – [Woman] Vancouver is like a breath of fresh air.

00:22 – [Man] And even though it is a big city

00:23 the water’s not far away, you have nature all around you.

00:27 – Here on the Seawall Promenade you’ll find tons of people

00:30 running and biking and workin’ up a sweat.

00:33 What I love is that on one side you have Stanley Park,

00:37 with the beauty of nature and then on the other side,

00:40 the hustle and bustle of downtown Vancouver.

00:42 – [Man] And as you head into Stanley Park

00:44 you have all these massive, really old trees.

00:48 – Downtown Vancouver has a lot to offer as well.

00:55 I really enjoyed walking around Gastown

00:57 and seeing the steam clock.

00:59 It actually winds the weights and blows the whistles

01:10 – It only takes a few minutes to go from the

01:12 downtown core to being completely surrounded by nature.

01:16 I was a bit nervous coming out on the bridge

01:18 but I was told that it’s strong enough to hold 96 elephants.

01:23 So I feel pretty secure.

01:25 That being said I’m not going to lean over too far.

01:29 When you get out there you’re looking down

01:30 into a gorge with a river, there’s trees all around you.

01:33 Grouse Mountain’s so cool too.

01:35 Take the gondola up the mountain and on the top

01:37 you can experience wildlife, and learn about lumberjacks,

01:40 and just enjoy the spectacular view.

01:42 – Over on Granville Island they have this amazing market.

01:47 There are endless rows of food-stalls,

01:49 everything from fresh produce to sweets, and even seafood.

01:52 It’s just a great placed to indulge

01:54 and feel like your on vacation.

01:57 is the capitol of British Columbia, Victoria.

01:59 – There you’ll find Butchart Gardens

02:02 which is heaven on earth.

02:04 This is the Sunken Gardens, and it is breathtaking.

02:11 great way to spend the evening.

02:14 I had so much fun here in Vancouver with you.
