- Individuals or teams will take a side of an issue chosen by the teacher to debate upon, which the students can express before preparation.
- They will have 2 minutes to form a proposal/rebuttal. Writing implements will be provided by the teacher as requested.
- The side that is in favor of the proposal will speak first.
- There will be two or three rounds of speaking in the debate.
- Speaking time on the topic will be between 1 to 2 minutes.
- There will be one minute to prepare a rebuttal, request for clarification, question or additional points.
- The teacher will evaluate the arguments and give feedback.
