1.[responsivevoice voice = “US English Female” buttontext = “”]A survey has found which countriesfoods are the most popular around the world. British research company YouGov asked over 25,000 people in 24 countries which of 34 types of cuisine they had tried, and if they liked it or disliked it.[/responsivevoice]

2.[responsivevoice voice = “US English Female” buttontext = “”]It found that Italian cuisine, such as pizza and pasta, was the most popular food around the world, with an average of 84% of people across all countries saying they liked it “a lot” or “a fair amount.”[/responsivevoice]

The least popular cuisine on the list was that of Peru, which only 32% of people said they enjoyed. The next least popular foods were Finnish and Saudi Arabian.[/responsivevoice]

4.[responsivevoice voice = “US English Female” buttontext = “”]Most people preferred the cuisine of their own country. For example, 99% of Italians said they liked Italian cuisine — with 93% saying they liked it “a lot” — and 98% of Spanish people said they liked Spanish food. And even though it wasn’t popular in other countries, 94% of Finnish people still liked Finnish cuisine.[/responsivevoice]
