1. Studio Ghibli co-founder Hayao Miyazaki is coming out of retirement to make one more film. In an interview with T: The New York Times Style Magazine, 80-year-old Miyazaki confirmed that he would be ending his retirement to make How Do You Live?, an animated film based on the 1937 children’s book of the same name by Genzaburo Yoshino.
2. The book tells the story of a 15-year-old boy named Junichi Honda and his uncle who live together in 1930s Japan.

5. His latest retirement came in 2013, after the release of The Wind Rises. But Miyazaki later came out of retirement again to make the 2018 short film Boro the Caterpillar, which was made to be shown to visitors at the Ghibli Museum in Tokyo.
6. How Do You Live? was first announced in 2017, but the recent interview with Miyazaki confirms that it is being made. While it isn’t known exactly when the film will be released, Studio Ghibli said in 2020 that it hopes to release the film in the next three years.
