Drake Breaks the Record For Most Top Five Hits On the Hot 100 Passing the  Beatles | Billboard News – Bobby 24

1. Canadian musician Drake has broken the Beatles’ 55-year-old record for the most songs in the top five of the US Billboard Hot 100. The Hot 100 is the main music chart in the US and is based on sales, radio play and streams.
 
2. Drake sings on DJ Khaled’s song “Staying Alive,” which entered the chart at number five on August 20, 2022. This means that Drake has now had 30 songs (including projects with other artists such as this one) enter the top five. The Beatles’ record was 29.

3. This isn’t the first time Drake’s broken a record set by the Beatles. For example, in June 2018, he had seven songs in the top 10 at the same time — two more than the record set by the Beatles in 1964.

4. In 2019, Drake got a tattoo of what looks like him waving at the Beatles as they walk behind him, which many believe celebrates him breaking their records.

Thirty-five-year-old Drake, whose full name is Aubrey Drake Graham, has broken a number of other Hot 100 records too.
 
6. Between 2009 and 2017, Drake had at least one song in the chart every week for 431 weeks — that’s longer than any other artist. As of August 2022, Drake also has the record for the most songs to feature in the top 100 with 277.
